Tonight, at Lyons-Muir Church, we celebrate Christmas Eve with the final message in the Searching for God at Christmas teaching series. God comes in unexpected ways, no more so than through his Son, Jesus. This Christmas, we recognize that we need to focus not on the baby in the manger but on the truth that was revealed through him, his life, death, and resurrection.

This week, at Lyons-Muir Church, we continue our teaching series, Searching for God at Christmas, by looking at where we find peace in our lives. Reflecting on the character of Lucy from A Charlie Brown Christmas, in relation to scripture, we recognize that one of the greatest gifts that we can give ourselves, and the world, is letting go of control and letting God be God.

Monday Oct 28, 2024

This Sunday's sermon, October 27, 2024, we invited Rev. Scott Otis back to speak for us.  He spoke to us about, "The Cure for Common Complacency," and challenged us to move beyond a lukewarm faith by reigniting our passion for Christ. Drawing from Revelation 3:14-22, we explored the call to live "hot or cold," fully committed to God’s purpose.
